Currently, it's a cool 57 degrees in New York City. Fall is approaching and although it is my favorite season, I'm not looking forward to summer's disappearing act.
Looking back at photos from Abu Dhabi and Dubai, I can still feel the desert's sensations. The oppressive heat and musky scent of mud brick buildings. The unfathomable sea of sand stretching for miles. It is the polar opposite of the concrete and glass city in which I reside.
Being in the desert induces natural, earthy, and somewhat sultry vibes. I heavily prefer these over the grey vibes that acompany the upcoming months.
